Online study timer

A browser study timer with subjects and a countdown

The timer above is the live StudyTracker clock. Pick a subject, choose 25, 30, 45, or 60 minutes — or type any length from 1 to 180 — then start. Sessions write to your study time log as they run. No account is required.

How the study timer works

Select a subject, set the minutes, and press start. The countdown runs in this tab. Pause or reset if you need to. Time is stored against that subject so the week is not a pile of anonymous minutes.

Presets and custom lengths

Presets cover the usual blocks: 25, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Custom mode accepts 1–180 minutes for a short drill or a long stretch. The 25-minute option is useful if you follow pomodoro-style intervals; it is still a plain countdown, not a round counter.

When a session ends

When the countdown hits zero, the UI can switch to a 5-minute break state. It does not auto-start the next block, play an alarm, or tally pomodoros. You start the next session yourself.

Tied to a subject, not a generic clock

A nameless kitchen timer cannot tell you whether chemistry or history ate the evening. Add subjects in the app, then run the clock on the one you are actually doing. That is what fills the weekly progress bars.

Stay in the browser

This is a free web study tracker. It works on a phone or a PC in the browser with no installer. Optional Google sign-in syncs subjects and sessions across devices; otherwise everything stays in this browser. See the privacy page for what is stored.

FAQ

Common questions

Is this an online study timer I can use without signing up?
Yes. Open the page, pick a subject, set the minutes, and start. Google sign-in is optional if you want the same subjects and sessions on another device.
Does the timer play a sound or auto-start the next session?
No. There is no alarm and no auto-start. After a session, you may see a 5-minute break state. You start the next countdown yourself.
Can I set a length that is not 25 minutes?
Yes. Use 30, 45, or 60 minutes, or a custom length from 1 to 180 minutes.
Where does the time go after I finish?
Logged minutes show on the 7-day bars, against weekly hour goals, and on the calendar as a log of days you studied — not as a class timetable.
